Lincoln University Research at US-RSE 2025

In an effort to showcase the excellence and achievements of Lincoln University, I am pleased to share that our recent research was accepted and presented at the national US Research Software Engineer Association (US-RSE) 2025 Conference

Our submission, entitled "Evaluating Scalability and Modularity: A Comparative Study of Traditional Software Architectures," was accepted for USRSE’25 and included in the conference proceedings. This recognition highlights the quality and national competitiveness of our work in the field of computer science.
This accomplishment also complements the recent achievement of my student researcher, Onyedikachi Kanu, a senior in the Department of Computer Science who received first place in the research poster category at this year’s LU Annual Undergraduate Symposium. Under my mentorship, Onyedikachi demonstrated outstanding experiential skills, evolving from a student focused on coursework to a capable researcher contributing meaningfully as part of a team.
It is noteworthy that USRSE’25 is a full computer science conference with competitive submissions, making it exemplary for Lincoln University research to be represented at this level.
The research was supported by the Title III FUTURES Act at Lincoln University, PA, and both the student researcher and I received competitive travel awards from the Sustainable Horizons Institute (SHI) and US-RSE, respectively, to attend the conference.
We hope this achievement serves as a testament to the exceptional talent of Lincoln University students and faculty and contributes to highlighting the positive impact of our institution on the national stage.
